Highly recommend Sufjan and he’s going on tour this fall so check him out if you can. Saw him last fall and bought my tickets to see him again. I haven’t been reading as much as I was, but I am still listening to music. I’ve posted a couple things about Sufjan before and I am very excited about his latest release. These were the outakes of his last cd, Illinois. Further evidence that he is not only an amazing songwriter but an incredible arranger.

I have a true confession, I’ve never listened to a Sufjan album in my life, I want to…but I’m not sure i’ll like it so i don’t buy it…but there’s obviously a lot of music lover that love Sufjan.
it’s just no one i know is even listening to Sufjan so i can’t even listen to their CD.
I know it’s a dreadfully sad story.

I am not sure what to tell you about Sufjan. I burned a cd for a young couple recently and they didn’t like it at all.
I’m sure some like him only because he’s the new face of the indie scene but his music and lyrics are so good (to me).
